Black Unemployment Rate

This interactive chart compares the historical black unemployment rate to those of whites and the hispanic/latino population. Note: Statistics for Asian unemployment are not included here as the Bureau of Labor Statistics did not start including this measure until 2000 and does not provide a seasonally adjusted series as yet. The current as of July 2023 is 5.80.
